Kashmir, Pakistan

UPDATE:- DO NOT PAINT LIKE THIS…

I recently saw a video of the beautiful Kashmir in Pakistan.  I stopped the video and captured several images to paint. Since I don’t intend to sell and is for practice only, copyright issue should not apply.

I am working towards limiting my Values and using temperature shifts. This painting is towards that endeavour.

Stuck!

A friend and colleague at work frequently goes out camping and he took a photo of his mini-RV that made those tire marks.  I looked at the picture and loved the design, therefore here it is captured in my painting.  Enjoy!

Choo, Choo!!!

This is another small study done at the Historical Park, in Farmers Branch, Texas.  The park is very tiny and has all the significant, remanent landmarks of Farmers Branch.  Enjoy!

A study of the Color Green…

This is a very small oil sketch/study of a Historical Park in Farmers Branch, Texas. These days, I am doing small sketches with big brushes to hold the value structure together.   Good Value design and limited values are what makes a painting sing. I have done many small pieces like this… to make value perception a second nature.  Enjoy!
